Katy Perry has donated a signed guitar to a charity auction for the American Foundation for AIDS Research.
Perry, who pledged the item to the Friday auction also said she will personalize the signing to the winning bidder, making it an even bigger win for the highest bidder.
AmfAR bosses were so pleased with Perry’s generous offer, they extended a thank you to her on the foundation’s Facebook page.
They write: “We’re thrilled to announce that superstar Katy Perry has donated a guitar to auction off at amfAR’s Inspiration Gala Los Angeles tomorrow. Katy will personalize an autograph on the guitar to the lucky winner.” “All proceeds benefit our research programs… Thank you, Katy!”
