Lindsay Lohan took a hit on Twitter after a tweet questioning everyone’s “panic” over hurricane Sandy, and now it seems like the words are coming back to haunt her.
Lohan’s mother Dina spoke with TMZ and reported that a tree had been uprooted on her property in Long Island and ripped through the roof.
Lohan took to her Twitter to help promote “calm” before the storm, writing, “WHY is everyone in SUCH a panic about hurricane (i’m calling it Sally)…? Stop projecting negativity!”
The reason for the panic was that a storm was on the way that has left many on the east cost still struggling with major flooding and power outages.
Lohan was not at the family home when the storm struck, as she was in Manhattan with her brother Michael, but the two are expected to head to the family home in Long Beach over the weekend.
