Courtney Love has dismissed reports that she is hard at work writing a musical play based on the life of her late husband, Kurt Cobain.
Sam Lutfi, the former manager of Britney Spears who just had his suit against the Spears family thrown out of court is one of Love’s pals, and he claimed last month that he was collaborating with her on a potential new stage show showcasing Cobain’s life, his band Nirvana, and their marriage.
Lutfi claimed that the pair was hoping to get the production to Broadway, and have it be a hit so that Hollywood producers would turn it into a film. Now Love is shooting down those claims.
The Hole singer told Britain’s Observer newspaper, “There will be no musical. Sometimes it’s best just to leave things alone.”
