Forbes Names Eddie Murphy Hollywood’s Most Overpaid Actor

It’s end of the year list time, and unfortunately there are a few lists you don’t want to be a part of. 

Forbes Magazine recently released their list of top actors and actresses that aren’t worth their salaries, and Murphy came out as Hollywood’s most overpaid star.

The methodology of the list is comparing every dollar of the salary to every dollar made at the box office over the past three years.   Murphy came out on top due to starring in flopped flims such as Tower Heist.  For every $1 paid to Murphy for the film, the box office only grossed $2.30.

Katherine Heigl came in second on the list, thanks to her latest film ‘One For The Money.’  The film grossed only $37 million, with a production budget of $40 million.  The actress asks about $12 million per film since her success in ‘Knocked Up.’
