Bruce Willis has already gifted a ski resort to an Idaho town, but it is the season of giving after all.
The Hollywood actor is now selling off his collection of motorcycles for an auction that will help veterans and wounded troops.
Willis is set to auction off five motorcycles, including a 72 Harley Ironhead Sportster XLH and a 2005 Ducati 1000DS. The proceeds of the auction will go to the Boot Campaign, a non-profit military appreciation organization.
The action star says in a statement, “I wanted to use my bikes in a way that would benefit our military service members, and I am thankful to have found the Boot Campaign as the catalyst for using my bikes in a way that will give back to our country’s true heroes.”
“These bikes have been a lot of fun to ride, and my hope is they can do a lot of good for our veterans.”
One motorcycle will be released on celebrity auction site www.CharityBuzz.com every two months.
