So Begins the String of Rock Reunions.

Fred Durst might be getting old and gray, but that’s not going to stop him from doin’ it all for the nookie.

Durst is rounding up the boys of Limp Bizkit in hopes to come back and revive heavy music.

He said recently of the state of today’s heavy rock, “We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back.”

Limp is hoping to pop out a new album and embark on a Summer 09 tour.

Blink 182 just announced Sunday that they’d be back recording new tunes together for the first time in many years.

So this summer you’ll be able to catch Blink 182, No Doubt, and Limp Bizkit.  It’s like a time machine took us all back to 1997.
